So around 2003 I was thinking about how I could make my multifamily dome community safer while minimizing the amount of pavement for the development.
My solution was a development that only had one-way roads. All intersections were roundabouts with a clear view of any oncoming traffic.
So after more research and some specs from Monolithic Domes, I made some changes. First off this height of the dome would have a 34ft or more center height. This means I can get 3 floors within each resident area.
Just after art collage, I found some information about people building Monolithic Domes.
Basically, they would blow up a balloon that is the full size of the house. Add some spray-on foam and short create with rebar, and just as that house is done. Well still needs the interior comforts, but a structure builds to last, and through anything.
So it’s been quite awhile since I have done any work building any LEGO MOC’s. With most of my LEGO swag in storage, I decided to see how far I could get making my version 4 of the Enercon E-126 windmill hub with in LDD. These were made 100% in LDD, pictures made in other programs..
This design has been my current Dream House design for some time. The design incorporates only exterior walls that support the roof, giving the whole house an open and flowing layout. Once you enter the front door most of the outer windows are in view giving a panorama of views.
Going through all my files of Custom LEGO SNOT Roads I have made and posting the Pictures and LDraw files to go with them the here.
This was designed in 2009 and I thought it about time for a new design but wanted to first go over this MOC.
For humans to travel to distant solar systems and searching for habitable planets to colonize, the past technology used to exit the Earth’s atmosphere is not capable of sending the needed resources with the travelers.
Working on my 3rd revision of the hub and geared areas of the E-126 MOC. These new revision are being made in MLCad so at some point I will have the whole MOC made in LDR and MLCad.
Setup my log cabin with a modified base to fit the community window at the Columbus Ohio LEGO store.
Post some progress of my newest Windmill designed to look and be to scale of the E-126 Wind Turbine. So if a minifig was a 6ft person in real life (Minifig = 6ft Tall thanks to Dave’s LEGO® scale Converter) this LEGO E-126 will be a staggering 16ft tall when one of the blades is turned up. The base of the tower is 48 studs wide, and each blade is 4.6 ft long…...
Many years ago I wanted to see how many different ways I could add bends, corners, and other changes in the LEGO train track layouts.
Since early 2003 I have been making various types of roads made out of LEGO bricks. In this entry I will talk about my current version I use. And share with the how and whys. View the Gallery of pictures and download LDR source files!
