In July 2005 over 14 different LEGO groups gathered in Cincinnati Ohio for one huge LEGO display. I was part of COLTC display and it was great.
By far my favorite display to date.
Being more of a road and bridge guy I worked with other COLTC member to create a hill and valley with a river.
I created the substructure and green hills and river. 2 COLTC members created a bridge each and I created 2 myself.
All most all the buildings and MOC’s on the hill area are other COLTC members MOC’s. Except for my Log cabin and a house under construction.
All of the roads on my hilly area are mine along with a sink hole that’s marked off.
Some of the main features for my hill area are 2 internal train loops just for the hill, with one using an area next to a water fall. Also 2 outer loops that are connected to the rest of the COLTC display.
Part of the hill area has an underground train station viewable from the public. None of the trains would stop, as we had the train’s running constant loops. So no smart train system here.
Sorry for the slow page load, the gallery is huge!
Enjoy!
