So it’s been quite awhile since I have done any work building any LEGO MOC’s. With most of my LEGO swag in storage, I decided to see how far I could get making my version 4 of the Enercon E-126 windmill hub with in LDD. These were made 100% in LDD, pictures made in other programs..
I do have to say I was quit surprised on how quickly I was able to build this in LDD. But about ¾ of the way through what you see in these pictures things started to go downhill quickly. I have a fast PC but things started to get unacceptable to continue with. Plus making changes to parts in the middle of this hub were imposable.
MLCad handled much larger files with ease, and I can have sub models that made making changes to any part of the MOC very easy.
So at this point I do not see me making the hub any better, now I just need to get all the LEGO parts that I’m missing to complete this long overdue MOC.Enjoy!
