This is a rather larger Dome. I used the profile from a surplus air form from monolithic domes. The dome is 110 ft by 45ft. I split it in half and filled in an area between them to extend the length by 40 meters.

With my 8^th version of a multifamily dome, I have stuck with the 40meter dome with 3 floors. This time the dome is broken up into 6 slices each with a 2 floor extension.

With these 2 designs I choose a rectangle block, and another design with round pillars of rammed earth.

So up to a few weeks ago, I have been making 3D looking images with my available drawing programs (2D). Then I gave Google SketchUp a try. Very basic 3D CAD but very easy to use.

So around 2003 I was thinking about how I could make my multifamily dome community safer while minimizing the amount of pavement for the development.

My solution was a development that only had one-way roads. All intersections were roundabouts with a clear view of any oncoming traffic.

So it’s been quite awhile since I have done any work building any LEGO MOC’s. With most of my LEGO swag in storage, I decided to see how far I could get making my version 4 of the Enercon E-126 windmill hub with in LDD. These were made 100% in LDD, pictures made in other programs..

This design has been my current Dream House design for some time. The design incorporates only exterior walls that support the roof, giving the whole house an open and flowing layout. Once you enter the front door most of the outer windows are in view giving a panorama of views.
