So up to a few weeks ago, I have been making 3D looking images with my available drawing programs (2D). Then I gave Google SketchUp a try. Very basic 3D CAD but very easy to use.

The Gallery of pictures is some of the first few conversions of my designs into 3D CAD. Really nice to walk through and view my designs from any angle.
