Going This was a very tricky image to render. While I was rendering this for the first time in one of my studies I did not realize that 1st render was pure luck.
While getting the image ready for the finial render and with full effects I realized that every time I ran a render job it came out totally different. Turns out only 1 out of 20 renders was in the area of what I wanted the image to look like. And in most cases I had to wait until it was 20% done before I knew if it was going to be a good render.
So planning on spending many hours attempting to get the one good render on the 8 CPU server all planned and ready. Skipped the finial small test before finial render and just went for the full 466+ million pixel render. And on the very 1st try, I got right in the area of what I was looking for. More of the colors have blended than planned, but still good.
The finial render time is by far the longest for any of the current renders on the 8 CPU server.
Finial image render was sized at 28,800 x 16,200 pixels or just over 466+ million pixels. Prints, Framed Prints and more are available, contact for more info.
I also included an gallery of cropped images taken from full size image.
