You will find the Beta versions of the LDraw.xml on this forum post.

The 4.x versions are the version I’m currently working on. Once this version is somewhat complete I will make a Public version. This 4.x version is being built from the ground up, as I add LDD part groups I will verify the parts from the older beta version. And then add these parts to this new version.

You only need to download the ldraw_427.zip and apply to your system. The .LXF files are just the files for LDD for each parts group as I work on them. One of the below parts group includes Baseplates that are not currently in LDD. to use them just import into your models.

View below posts to view the details of each LDD group of parts.

Parts that are yellow are working correctly,
Green need some work,
Dark Gray parts are not working, or do not have an LDraw part yet.

So a little while back LEGO finally came out with a LEGO Log Cabin set, unfortunately I personally was let down by the fact it was a brick cabin attempting to look like a Log Cabin.

I think the reason was building a Log Cabin like the ones I build may be too hard for younger humans, but I think anyone could build like I do, just need a little help.

In the past I just gave LDR files for examples for others to build from, today I will go over the mechanics that make up my original LEGO Log Cabins designs.

So please visit my forum topic on the Mechanics of Building True LEGO Log Cabins… the right way.

I will be posting how-to, images, LDR and LDD files, and some new modular LEGO Log Cabin designs.

Enjoy

Hi Mike.

I’m writing a small program focused on LEGO Digital Designer users, planning to add more features.
Main functions of program are:
* build a catalog of owned bricks and sets
* check a LDD MOC project against your own catalog of bricks to see if you can build the MOC
* export a list of brick in XML format to buy them on Bricklink.

One feature I wish to add will be the capability to import LDraw MOC files and use it.

I ask permission to include a function for read your ldraw.xml and use the equivalences in it, to enable users to import LDraw MOC files without using LDD for file conversion.

PS: I checked briefly your file, and I see that you made the brick 1x4 (ldraw id 3010) converts in LDD part id 3066. I think it is better to convert to LDD part id 3010:
LDRAW <-> LDD
3010 <-> 3010 brick 1x4 with bottom tubes
3066 <-> 3066 brick 1x4 without bottom tubes (usually for transparent colors)

Thank you.
